no it wouldnt and tbh, the code hasnt changed,
the trigger command was just undocumented.

the only reason you would get an error like

ON unknown command

is a syntax error, example:

on :text::#: {
bla bla
on :action::#: {
bla bla
}

please click the lil bracket checker button in your script editor,
and see if it tells you where the missing bracket is,
mine is all fine.
