Never seen this done with a window before, few things

var %hilit = $strip($1-)
var %h1lit = $strip($1)

Are not needed if you use "tokenize 32 $strip($1-)" after the on text line. Not really a needed but "($2 == $null)" can be "(!$2)" just shortens it a little.
