Grabbing other peoplse code even off of pastebin and posting it as your own is still wrong and is ripping if you do not state the original author and source. And that doesnt mean hidden in a comment in the code. Just dont post something as yours if it isn't.

Forums and pastebins are an excellent place to share code without releaseing it as your own.

I shall now pull my recent post up to paste it.

I am so sick of seeing posts like this bringing down hawkee. Theyre every day now and its getting worse and worse.

Common sense says.

If it isn't yours, don't post it.

If it doesn't work or has not been tested, don't post it.

If it's useless to everyone but yourself, don't post it.

If it's so simple that everyone here can do it and it probably belongs as an example in the help file for dummies, don't post it, save it for the forum when ppl need help.

If you do post, expect comments of both a positive and negative nature.

Lastly, dont rate something based on the title or how usefull it is to you, I hate msn but that doesnt mean every msn script deserves a 1 rating, they should be rated on the code, functionality, how original the idea is, even the look of the thing and things like that but not just on the name.

If people followed those simple ideas this site would be a heck of a lot better.

Just my lowly opinion tho.
