all u need is if ($nick == $me) because $newnick can\'t == $me if you\'re already $me

      set %Nick $nick
      nick $nick

the variable is pointless if ur not using it

  ..On: /set %nicklock On | echo -a Nick Locker On
  ..Off: /set %nicklock Off | echo -a Nick Locker Off

i would use $style and $iif to disable whether it\'s on or off already
