Bit off topic.. but it has coding value so...
I just took delivery of the new ZTE Open Mobile phone today with the new Firefox OS operating system on it.
All the apps and stuff can be made by Joe Public and they're all open source! Might be worth a look into?

The bootloader is B2G (Boot to Gecko)!
Its all CSS Javascript and HTML5 .. the phone .. but the language and bits can be found on these links

That's pretty neat. So you essentially just need a responsive website and you can post it to their app store.

way out of my depth this one as i am struggling to get to grips with the running of the darn thing as it is coming from a simple java based phone to a galaxy s with android.. now to this thing! one for the masses for sure
