I made some subtle changes to the way threads and comments work. Here is the changelog:

Threads are automatically expanded on snippet, app and project pages.
Total number of likes now show up to the top right of every activity.
Link, Edit and Delete are now below activities.
Hovering over an activity will present detailed options.
Clicking anywhere on an activity will open the responses below.
Icons for all activity options.
Snippets, Apps or Projects posted by the same person on the same day do not group together anymore.

The Like button does not appear for me on this particular thread at its permalink (http://www.hawkee.com/thread/10288).

Otherwise, very nice.

Edit: Also, I think the "Response" button for expanding should be different from the "Response" button for responding (ie. after pressing "Cancel"). See: http://i.imgur.com/hHtb7oD.png

Maybe I should indent the second respond link. Otherwise how else could it be different?

Perhaps change the first one to "No Responses" by default.

I actually tried that at one point, but I did this to give it more of a call to action to get the responses going.

Fair enough. How about having the Cancel button minimize the thread if there are no responses?
