@Hawkee when you click your notifications would it be possible for it to highlight the ones that you haven't previously seen?

I do have the unread ones fade in. What did you have in mind?

I didn't even notice that, it's rather fast. If I ctrl+click the notification icon then continue reading the activity stream, I'm not able to differentiate between old and new notifications. Perhaps the "9 minutes ago" could be bold, or someting?

That's an idea. I'll see if I can experiment with it.
