I made a portfolio. Please give any feedback.

Not bad, although I think more emphasis on the screenshots and less on the text would be better. Look at Dribbble.com to see what I mean. Your boxes should also have a universal height.

I have a lot of issues trying to get the boxes to be a certain height. I'll try and fiddle with it again some time.

You're right about the images. Somebody else made comments about the thumbnails being too small, so I might make larger ones here later. Maybe I could have it pull random thumbnails out of the gallery?

You'll just have to shorten some of the text so the boxes don't get too large.

I may opt for no text at all, since the description are already contained within the pages.

Alright, I made larger icons and removed the descriptions.

I'd like to make the banner javascript, but I'm having issues getting Processing to export working code.

I'm thinking about hiding the applets on the pages, and instead showing the gallery first (with maybe an expandable box containing the applet?)

More ideas/feedback/critiques appreciated.

That's a little better, but I think you could use even bigger icons. I also tried reducing the size of the window and it didn't scale down to a mobile screen. You might want to look into responsive design.

It's not immediately responsive, but if you were to resize the window and refresh, it responds in a way.

Maybe if I have the icon take up their entire boxes, and have the title/date on top?

How about something like http://dribbble.com/ where if you hover over the image you can see the title. You should look up some articles on responsive design. The page should adjust as you resize.

I feel like, to be professional, some information needs to be shown immediately.

Not necessarily.
