One of our more advanced features here at Hawkee is our markdown page editor. What sets it apart is fluid integration with CodeMirror to quickly and easily add code to a page. There's no fumbling with tabs and no need to paste between fences. This article gives a general overview of how it works.

You might be wondering where the snippets went and what these new "Pages" are. To answer that, let me give you a little history. Syntax highlighting wasn't even necessary. We just offered the code back in plain black and white..

Once it its triggered, it will put a balloon tip only if your are not on the channel. It also triggers when mIRC is not the active application. Also, when you double click on the balloon tip, it will take your straight to the channel. Again, very simple, but handy if you are doing..

Hawkee uses the most common form of Markdown with many GitHub elements such as fenced code and tables. Here are some examples to help you create more clear and easy to understand pages.

Below is a very simple example of how to create a basic websocket using node.js. Websockets are great for maintaining a server/client relationship without as much of the overhead of HTTP web traffic. Today, websockets are used to build a magnitude of browser-based real-time applications (live chats, multiplayer games). Basically it's a persistent connection between the server and client in which both..

Tired of having a bunch of messy, disorganized code? Need a little more order in your life? This is for you. What this does is sorts your code for you alphabetically and case-insensitively. Feed it your source and it'll output sorted.code The code:

This is just something that I came up with because I was bored. It is possible in MS Word, so I decided to match it. I haven't submitted anything in years. The first code is tried to be done without regex, but it is impossible (or just too lengthy) to add exceptions. It will capitalize the first letter of each word, besides: a, an, is, of, and, & the.

Watch channels for a word or phrase and have it sent to a @Window or echo into your active channel. Main sends each term to a window named with the search term. Alternate method sends all of the search terms to a single @Window. Once loaded just right click in a channel window to change/view settings found under ChanWatch.
