As with all my scripts, you must have the money snippet installed (link below) to get the most of it, especially the fighting and slavery. if you are already one of the very few who have already loaded the bar script, you can delete that as the bar is in this as part of the fighting equipment.

It's an old creation, I'm working on a new version so I thought it was time to let the masses pass judgement. (and yes I know most of the rpg enemies are sarcastic. it's meant to be a parody)


EDIT- new rpg is halted with only 3 locations, and about 20 armour/weapons. If you want me to continue, please let me know, I've lost interest right now but someone elses will suffice. :D

the RPG levels were originally all seperated but I couldn't be bothered writing out descriptions for each, so here it is one big chunk, all 2,400+ lines.

It works for me fine, I recommend you strip colours on your bot if you have any trouble with it as a first check.

Here's a couple of images of a new RPG I attempted, 2 town areas were complete. AFAICR anyway. If there is demand I may continue it. Any thoughts on it would be appreciated. (no the fighting other chatters isn't on this, and the money is in game only. It's a more pure RPG, and works in it's own room with an EIGHT second delay because it spams a lot.)

The images are right to left so look at -this end- first to see from the player creation onwards.

Thanks to everyone for the interest in my game. I've fallen off the radar a little recently, but if there's more need I'll re-continue my newer complete rpg game.

Everyone these days just seems to want an idle rpng (role playing NOT game) and I don't do those. weeks of work for someone to sit in a room silently and wait for random shit to happen for them... I just don't see the point, any idle rpg discussions always boil down to... "I can do nothing better than you, or, while doing nothing I had some good/bad luck." It's far too easy rot your brain doing nothing than something, thats why I'm a gamer more than a tv watcher, a scripter more than a reader, a sport player more than a sport watcher (thought neither much hehe) and do the lovin' instead of watching it.

That should change the delay from 12 seconds to 60 instead, look carefully that you do not add or remove any spaces when replacing. (for each channel it is in) It is only the rpg which will be altered like that, the normal reply triggers will have their respective times unchanged.

BTW for any and all who wish to see the beta of a new version rpg I am making called ChatQuest.... It has locations, pack items, hp and (incomplete)mp, shops to enter, dungeons and travel routes too. try asking me here or in priv.

Just checking but you are aware that you have to reach lvl 6 before you can use the rpg shop?

and the bar is all ~coke ~cookie ~beer etc for the commands.

If you are sure you have no problems with the triggers and it's only the shop, then unload and reload it, I'm almost certain that the on load commands have nothing to do with the shop though. I hope that fixes it for you. If it doesn't, you'd have to show me directly what the problem is. I'll come to your bot if you give me a server / channel to connect to and see what I can do. (but tomorrow, it's 2:30am here now)

Damn I had hoped that would work. (meaning the name adds at the end of the script)

Here are the text files direct. Just open the zip, move the text files into your main IRC folder.

So you know; you can add any name you wish for yourself, it is literally just a few text files with names in, and if you do add any, make sure you leave no blank lines underneath or it will sometimes show blank like you are seeing now.

My apologies for the failed list, I'll edit the snippet now and provide the link to the files up there as well. I had hoped to avoid doing this, I was hoping it would be all-in-one.

By the way Anthos, the first level or two are quite simple replies but it gets better further on. It was a learning experience for me to make the rpg and by the time it reached level 10+ I was losing interest and decided to start thinking about a real rpg script. it's still far from ready but all being well, I will post it here eventually.

I used if's only because it's so large that I didn't want anything triggering at the wrong time, that and I'm happier to see if than else because it helps me know which part is solely going to work rather than activate if I accidentally left a hole in the previous triggers.

Has anyone actually tried this out yet? I know it works fine for me, but I'm curious as to whether anyone else would have problems with it.
(I was told scripts should be no larger than 64k and this is double.)

All the parts are interlinked with the moneyscript I posted some time back, if you fight monsters or other people, then it should be quicker and easier to buy slaves. Any slave you own cannot initiate a fight with you and so cannot take your money.

It's also simple to add any other fun scripts you have into the money script, so people have to play or chat to be able to use the bot fully.

@Jethro_ : It's meant to be a fearsome companion for the tough world! lol

EDIT: I added money to the bot it is loaded onto so that people can fight with the bot indefinitely and the bot cannot be bought as a slave either.
