Bot Request Script

By shaneny on May 18, 2010

An Advanced Request Script I Made.
Basically You Can Request Your mIRC Bot To Your Own Channel.
It Also Includes A Script That If You Type ./info It Shows The Email, Nick, Time And Date Of The Person That Requested It. Replace "#ChannelHere" With Your Channel That You Wish To Be Able To Request Your Bot From, If You Want To Make It Able To Be Requested In Any Channel Replace "#ChannelHere" With "#".
To Request Your Bot You Must Type: !request #yourchannel your@email.address
He Will Also Add It To It's Ajoin List.
Below Is An Example:

!request #ComputerCoder admin@komputerz.tk ComputerCoderGuy, iCCG Should Join #ComputerCoder Soon And In The Channel You Requested Him To: #ComputerCoder Has Been Added To My Ajoin List And The Info Script: ComputerCoderGuy> ./info My Info For #ComputerCoder Is Below. The Nick Of The Person That Requested Me: ComputerCoderGuy The Email Of The Person That Requested Me: admin@komputerz.tk The Time I Was Requested: 05:51:54 PM The Date I Was Requested: 18/05/2010 -----End Of #ComputerCoder's Info----- Please Comment On What You Think. -------------------------------------------------------------- Please Wisit Komputerz.tk And If You Are On GeekShed Please Request My Bot In #iCCG ```mirc ########################################### #www.komputerz.tk The Place For Technology# # Copyright 2010 ComputerCoderGuy # ########################################### on *:TEXT:!request *:#iCCG:{ msg $chan $nick $+ , iCCG Should Join $2 Soon %requestE. [ $+ [ $2 ] ] = $3 %requestN. [ $+ [ $2 ] ] = $nick %requestT. [ $+ [ $2 ] ] = $asctime(hh:nn:ss TT) %requestD. [ $+ [ $2 ] ] = $date /join $2 /ns ajoin add $2 msg $2 $2 Has Been Added To My Ajoin List } on *:TEXT:./info:#:{ msg $chan My Info For $chan Is Below. msg $chan The Nick Of The Person That Requested Me: %requestN. MartyniP, are you high on something? Why revived an old thread after one month or so? I don't see the big deal in this who-gives-to-whom ordeal. mIRC is considered open source and there's no rightful ownership in who's made it originally. Furthermore, the code shaneny posted is very common.

Well, @MartyniP (Not sure if @ is on hawkee) You told me about variables and I made it myself from scratch, but, I agree, inspiration was from you :)

It'd be best you change > msg $chan to

msg $nick

Email addresses are not meant for public sharing.

Would a user want their email address to be shared with everyone in the channel?
