honestly guys? evidently you havn't been on a busy server. LOL. To keep pedos out, it's important to know someones age, correct? Venomm nice script, simple but accurate. Make sure to addon to it though, it's not yet to it's expiration. Set a timer to kick if there isn't a reply within so many seconds. ;P
--Btw, also set it to certain rooms. It'd be annoying in every room.
true on the remembering part and true venom irc is mine but your wrong on the coding part im not very good only been doing it for a couple months and venom irc is nowhere near being done xero im not that good of a coder yet and def not good enough to make it remember who has been asked and as i stated above me and my admins/mods of my chat find it useful if you dont then ok your opinion
You can simplify your code by changing it to this:> on @!*:JOIN:#:notice $nick asl pleaseThe @ means that client who runs the code is opped in channel. I don't see the need for being an op and just send a notice, unless you want to make sure the client, as an op, is able to kick or ban someone. The exclamation mark indicates that it won't be triggered upon your own entry (the client who runs the script). You don't want to ask yourself asl, do you? All in all, this is all you need, really:
on !*:JOIN:#:notice $nick asl please
But either way, you can add @ to be sure the client is opped.
