This is a very easy script, which allows you to set a greet.
It's very easy to use,
Type !setgreet ( other triggers are possible. )
this will save the greet on their address, and when they join a channel, and your bot is in it, It will message the channel your greet.
If you want to change the greet, follow this syntax:
!setgreet ( other triggers are possible. )
If you want to get rid of your greet, just type !delgreet and your greet will be removed.
How to get:
copy the code & paste in remote ( Alt + R )
If you're having problems:
im in irc.swiftirc.net #criminal
And yes, Fireworm999 is my rsn
Criminal is my botname.
like I already said... I'm new in this so please dont flame.
Hope you'll like it
please do not flame because i'm pretty new in this...
Ok guys, a little help here. I am trying to utilize a script like this but it saves greets locally to a greet.txt file. But because of various users inside the same network, setting the greet by $address doesn't work(all users have same greet). I've tried using $fulladdress but that doesn't seem to work either.
Any ideas as to how to do it? I've tried $nick as well, and that just screws the pooch all the way around.
