Having said that, i can\'t stand power abusive OPs who are against whois\'ing and trying to show off their power killing people, a whois is a function, that should be able to be used by anyone. If you don\'t like it. //mode $me -W
It\'s not that hard.

ROFL@ Muppet ;x I burst out laffin at that lol such a brit term to unny as hell.No ircD doesnt blow chunks theres ALOT of things ircD has and uses that i wish CS used but alass thats not possible so i dabble in both ircD an CS.This IS useful for spam trackers/war script0rs that are lookin for the ircOPS and the admins to see where they are an avoid them.This way you can see who is taking a interest in you and does have alot of uses.`-.-´

ircD is a hell of a lot better than the other types, hybrid etc.. The stuff you can do is a lot more. And therefore increases scripting chances :P

Eugenio, uhhmm .. it\'s the people on there boring you, clearly, not the server. Muppet :]

 Respond
napa182   -  Jan 31, 2008

it\'s for ircd servers you also need to add the user mode +W to ur nick

 Respond
EL   -  Jan 31, 2008

Hmm what type of network is this compatible with? I can\'t use it on chatspace cause there are no notices about who whois you even with admin/IRCop.Altho i would love if i would tell if someone was whois\'in me.Cool idea tho.Maybe a counter whois to whois the person who whois\'d you(finger full there eh).`-.-

 Respond
napa182   -  Jan 31, 2008

i did get the idear from another script if your prefer sound in it tho you always could just use

on :SNOTICE:whois on you*: {
window -e @whois
{
echo -ti2 @whois 14[12Attention14][12 $day $time 4 $1-
splay location\of\file\sound.wav
}
}

and replace - location\of\file\sound.wav - with sample - C:\Yousound - so when ever you get whois it plays a sound with it :)
