gremlaNizE, Hit Alt+R. Place the file into your \"Remotes\" section. Hit the OK button then right click in the channel and it should say \"Jokes\". :)

Good job, man. Maybe you could put together all of your popups and submit them, where they can be sent to the popups download section :)

\"$read(file.txt)\" reads a one random line in the file. If you want to specify a line number, use \"$read(file.txt,3)\" which reads line 3.

/help $read for more info

Also use \".timer\" to make it silent or perform the command quietly without printing any info.

Thanks Quickstep. And XDaeMoN i guess i would have done that but in the past i have put $read(file.txt) it only read one line i think it was the last one so im not quiet sure what i did wrong but if i can figure that out i will be sure to add that to my future addons and stuff.

You could make the code shorter by putting the jokes in a text file that way you could easily edit the jokes then retrieve a random line or make a script which you could input a number & the script would retrieve that line.
