It's an overall nice phone set. Love having the second phone that plugs into electrical outlet.
It was a refurbished set and works fine, looked new. However they did leave old phone numbers and caller id's in it.
Speaker phone volumn is adequate. My favorite feature is the blue easy to read display. I don't have to find my glasses to read the caller id, etc. .

I was a bit peeved that the unit showed up with a dead battery, perhaps that was the reason it went back and was labeled a 'refurb'. Anyhow, overstock quickly sent out a new one, and I now have two wonderfully working vtech phones at a deep discount. Thanks!

Didn't realize it was re-conditioned until I bought it but it was in perfect condition. Much better than my very expensive Motorola cordless phone system.
