This is a modified version of some script I found elsewhere on the web. I don't even have the original script anymore actually....

This will keep a window open where your highlighted messages will be kept. It's still work in progress because, even though the @highlights window content is logged to a file, I haven't found an easy (emphasis on "easy") way to load the logfile into the highlights window on startup. At least not when there's a date in the filename.

The implementation is inefficient in many ways but I just threw it together quickly to check how interesting it is. It is interesting. :-)

My connection drops very often so I end up using the alternative nickname all the time. Here's a tiny script to reset nicknames to the primary one periodically.

Pressing F4 will take you to a channel with unread messages. A very fast way to hop from channel to channel talking to many people. Should work with private messages too but the whole script hasn't been tested a lot.

This will open the second editbox on all channels and use that to display the number of users in that channel plus an activity indicator.
