Most IRCd's have a form of flood protection similar to UnrealIRCd's CHMODE +f. Use it.

Jesus Christ. The first problem I noticed is that the network allows 5+ client connections from the same IP.

If you attempt to use the script without replacing $chr(32) with $chr(160) it will remove the spacing you have in the snippet you attempt to /pastecode. However, if you do replace them like I did, the spacing will stay in there when you use it.

You can make your on JOIN:

on !^*:JOIN:#: {

The "!" will make sure it doesn't activate when you join. If you do that, you won't need to check if the nick = $me

I know I can probably do this using a few $regsubex's, but I am yet to learn how to use regex properly. Sorry about the massive $replace. :P

Here's a basic little snippet I made. If you're ever in a channel that doesn't mind you spamming a bit, or if you have a small mIRC snippet that you want to paste in a channel, just copy the script to the clipboard, go to the channel/query that you want, then type /pastecode and hit enter.
