Thanks Ford for putting this together, and the other one... I was able to figure out I missed changing it in every location needed! :)

When using this script I am now getting a password error.401 unauthorized error. Nothing has changed on my end that that I can think of that would cause this.

Thanks Hawkee, I looked at this and in my troubleshooting last night I actually did manage to change it to that.

However am now getting: Password/Username Error --> HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized

I checked my system time as I remember that being an issue in the past and I pretty sure my time is not off on the computer.

I'm having the same problem as Steak... I ended up finding the old script and using that, but now that won't work either. :(

Getting 401 error, and no context options to add tweetmaster etc.

Loaded this script up and I'm not sure what's wrong here. I am getting * /hsave: no such table 'ITtext' (line 70, stats.cfg)

Any word on what all the commands are etc?

I was able to get this script to work as a tweetbot by adding the following line at the top.

on :TEXT:!tweet:*: if ($len($2-) >= 110) { /notice $nick The tweet is too long at $len($2-) characters please shorten to 110 characters also try www.goo.gl to shorten the url | halt } | /quick_update $nick - $2- | /notice $nick Your tweet is being posted $len($2-)

My if then/else doesn't quite work right but it does the right check for me by either sending them a message if the tweet is too long or just posting it.

Having the same issue with the youtube videos and http://www.udn1.com 's title. Any idea on a possible fix?

Just discovered this and your other updated tweet script on here. The other one works great, any word on the Xauth and if you've been able to modify this script? This is the one I would really love to use to allow my IRC channel members to update the status of our irc channel twitter account.
