If you ever encounter Japanese text during your IRCing, you might be able to make use of this. Unfortunately, it will only help you out with kana, not kanji, sorry!

Okay, so the "Ultra" kinda implies some profound greatness, but my personal kick and ban commands do only what they sound like, haha. However, I do think that they accomplish that pretty well.

I'm sure there are zillion of these, but I don't think I'm (directly) doing anyone harm by posting it. As with most little snippets like these, it's another whimsical product of my boredom.

Well, this is technically XML, but I didn't see an entry for XML in the snippet list (rightfully so, as it would be a bit out of place). The next most directly applicable label would be mIRC then.

This idea is pretty simple, yet I have already found many uses in a short span of time. It focuses on limiting the length of text output, for length cutoffs by an IRC server or other reasons.

I originally made this to support something else I was making, when I said to myself, "it sure would be nice if I could use php's file() here." So, I decided to make my take on it, and I end up adding some things. Basic usage:

This is a (working) rough draft of a automatic translation script. Simply put, you choose to enable translation for incoming or outgoing text (or both), and pick a language to translate each to. Messages you send will be in the selected language, and messages received will be in the other selected language (if one or both of those are appropriately enabled). This script uses Google to make translations.

When a user places a ban or bans on a channel, if any of the bans affect any of the users currently on a channel, this script will change the echoed text to display such. Also works for quiet bans, nick change bans, excepts, and invites.

A short but sweet snippet that gives some information about the remote script files you currently have loaded. Default echoes number of scripts loaded, as well as line total and size total in KB.

These are just a few of the random commands and identifiers that have piled up in my script editor. None of them are important enough to warrant their own snippet, so I have grouped them here. Some of them I wrote a while ago, so the code might not be as efficient as some others, but they work. Be warned, a few of these are mildly useful, but others are downright juvenile, so if you disagree with one,..

I was just browsing through some old code I had today, and noticed an extended ban bit that appeared to be rather inefficient and redundant. I ended up redoing a lot of it, and was satisfied with the result enough to share it. As is, it's rather limited, as it only does nick changing bans and quiet bans, but you should be able to change it to do something else. Pretty short, so you might have to build..

The script is 100% written by me, today. It features an easy to use dialog interface which allows the storing and manipulation of data and settings on multiple networks, and the automation of connection to said networks and execution of given settings. To put it more simply, it is a script that makes it easy to connect to multiple networks automatically and join your favorite channels/identify to nicknames/whatever..
