Yes Chatspace does use this.. as in this case your pass is the opercert
in the con fig-file, it's set with the opercert file instead of a password
so when you /oper name *
it compares the key files you load in mIRC to the cert on the server.
So you still need to auth or the opercerts wont work, and you will have no ops.. if you forget when you send your script by mistake with oper in it it wont work with out the original opercert and private file.

Hmmm this only works providing the server has a SSL port for its Opers to join...for example +6667..Glining them is a tad unfair if they are say "out somewhere" and have some time to staff and your kicking them off the server lololol alternatively you could offer a BNC conn or have a staff only leaf for them so no one gets kicked off.
Anyway chanserv forbid can stop unwanted users joining Oper Only channel but if its set to +so no need for ssl.
