michealkenny if you're still wondering, change

$sock(vlc).mark [VLC] (Type:) %v.ty >> %v.ar - %v.ti < $+ %v.al $+ > (Length:) %v.le (Bit Rate:) %v.bi ( $+ %v.sa $+ )

to

$iif(Status Window = $active,echo -ts,describe $v2) is now playing: %v.ar - %v.ti

also um id use $remove($1-,$) instead of just $1- to guard against injections and that kind of garbage a bit.

  1. Injections?
  2. It doesn't matter, because $1- isn't evaluated twice, only once as the message (if you get what I mean) in an on TEXT event.

That's what this snippet does :P And yeah, there's no real md5 cracker, they simply don't exist. It's all archived. Like for example, the md5 for one of my passes

No corresponding md5 found for "5876f0aa1c3caba57c95108f77a0668e"

Comes with bot trigger and custom alias. Searches the rednoize database for specified MD5 hash. Note this though: this code DOES NOT decrypt MD5 hash. Why? Because it isn't possible. This is simply searching a database of known matches. Do NOT get surprised if it does not decrypt whatever you searched for.

Jethro_, I am fully aware of the -u switch, but look at the byte size difference. Also, there might be connection problems on the host up to the point that by the time you get to , the info might be lost.

SunnyD, I think you're mistaken. Regex and sockmarking are two different things; sockmarking is storing information into the socket so you don't need to use hash tables or variables. It's also more reliable to call information from. Regex is just a way of catching/parsing expressions.

also i love worlddmt

SunnyD: I did use regex...

And WorldDMT, that does not work. The help file explains better than me as to why:

This creates the local variable %x in the current routine and can only be referenced from inside this routine.

Now playing script for the best media player out there. Obviously you gotta have the VLC media player to use this script. Usage: /vlc -l to echo or -m to message active window. To use this, first you must open VLC and go to View > Add Interface > Web Interface, and you might get a firewall pop up, just click allow. All set.
