You\'re right x-file. Unlike many protection scripts, this gem only loads up files it needs (eg menus/dialogs) at the time they need to be used freeing up memory. The startup routine ensures nothing is loaded up that shouldn\'t be, such as can happen if there was a pc crash

Very useful - with some modification to this snippet, a potential use, you can keep track of past trolls to channel, or perhaps people who have been kicked from channel in past.

well, for a practical use - there\'s always people asking how to convert file sizes in the snippet request area, eg file list script, mp3 script. Users might look at it and find a solution to their own scripting problem.

very nice - but for practicality purpose, you really should make it autocheck once week or month or possibly on startup for self. I do realize however you intended the !mirc command so that other users in channel can check.

For some reason it freezes mirc freezes when I join a channel, like an endless loop which only stops when I hit control-break. these are the vars I\'m left with: %clone.s -397815, %clone.t 0, %clone.c. Also, the break is at line 34 and line 36 , both which have the goto scan.

Looks good! Peace & Protection 4.22 uses similar coding for the bug report/feedback section, only with dialogs. BTW, does hotmail still allow smtp connections?

this looks incomplete. parm2 alias is missing, also, the else event makes no check whether you are already joined in the predefined channel first. lastly, /server alone will only succeed in reconnecting to same server (in my case it does at least, since that\'s how I configured my mirc to not rotate servers).

here\'s a question for you wizard- if your \'elite script\' hasn\'t been made public how did he rip it off from you? duh. It\'s not that uncommon to find other people scripting things in the same style as I would have. I came across a seen script which is almost exactly as I scripted it in one of my scripts - it doesn\'t mean they ripped it off from me.

v4.22 is the latest (and last) version of this great script & so far I haven\'t come across any obvious issues using 4.22 on mirc v6.16

it\'s not completely useless if you can think of the potential uses. I\'ve seen this sort of setup whereby positioning the mouse over different areas of the dialog, would actually change the text at the foot of the dialog giving HELP information on what each button was for.. I think tat\'s trivia does something like that from memory

found a bug that eluded me earlier... I\'ve simplified the maths a little.
