Great idea I am just starting out with TCL and would love to find a place where newbies can learn. Sad to say answers like read the manual on other tcl sites dont help matters much. Thanks Hawkee

TCl is a scripting language that is widely used. IT can be adapted to many things, however it is most commonly associated with eggdrops.

Im suprised to find people still not aware of tcl and it's capabilities. I am also a newb when it comes to coding. I dont consider myself a coder at all, but I would say I play alittle.

TCL means: Tool Command Language - A Simple Scripting Language and library often used for GUI, string-manipulation, testing, and integration of multiple components.
Tutorials can be found at:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:BarkerJr#Programming - http://www.tcl.tk/man/tcl8.5/tutorial/tcltutorial.html - http://wiki.tcl.tk/1681 - http://wiki.tcl.tk/1304 - http://www.tcl.tk/scripting/primer.html - http://www.peterre.info/characters.html

Although reading is alittle tedious it does help and because it's online tutorial's you can study at your own leasure, and become guru's Laughing
