@Jethro I don't know what I'm doing wrong but it's not working for me. I'm a newbie when it comes to scripting so it's possible I put what you gave me in wrong. It shows "gathering info" or even "NHL Scores" but never actually displays anything. Maybe it's the site it's using for feeds. I still get:

[06:01p] <User1> .nhl
[06:01p] <_User2> Gathering nhl info please wait.....
[06:01p] <User1> .nhl vancouver
[06:01p] <_User2> NHL Scores

If it's working on your end do you mind posting the whole code to make sure I'm doing it right? I've also posted this over at the mirc snippet forum since I felt bad about clogging up your comments and wasting your time. I appreciate your help.

@Jethro I appreciate you even taking a look at it, I know you weren't the original author. It's just that I tried the other ones on that thread and yours was the only one that did what I want.

@Jethro That seems to only be working for .mlb, not nba, nhl, or nfl, and it only works with a search string, it's impossible to list all (such as just .mlb, instead of .mlb detroit). Unless I input it into my code wrong?

Lets hope this is formatted right:

[05:57p] <User1> .nhl

[06:01p] <User1> .nhl
[06:01p] <_User2> Gathering nhl info please wait.....
[06:01p] <User1> .nhl vancouver
[06:01p] <_User2> NHL Scores
[06:02p] <User1> .mlb detroit
[06:02p] <_User2> Detroit at Cleveland (6:05 PM ET)

@Jethro Jethro_, yes it was the one you posted at the bottom of that thread. I didn't mean "flood" as in a real flood, just as a flood of irrelevant information. For instance, MLB has so many games per day that .mlb will list 20 items, when really someone might just want .mlb yankees, to find out a specific score or game time.

I know little about mirc scripting so if it's complicated don't sweat it, I just figured if it was a quick "search for a line containing 'yankees' and grab it" edit that you could make it would be appreciated.

@Jethro Hey, I was using your code that you posted here: http://www.hawkee.com/snippet/7535/

I was wondering if it would be possible for you to add a search, for example ".nba miami", or ".nba heat" and have it just display the line from the scores page with that score in it, in case I'm looking for the score for a specific game. As it is now, things like .mlb cause unnecessary flood sometimes because of the vast amount of games played each day. Thanks if you can help.
