Any way to make it so you can set a start and stopping point in chat, remotely?

Say you are having a meeting and want to record the chat, you'd type !start
then !stop when done. And it would record everything typed in between and send it to pastebin?

Works perfectly for me. Can I get it to open a sound recording and play it, so that the caller gets it? Just use StereoMix and open a .mp3 file right? I think I can code that in myself.

to get it to post to channel instead of notice nick...how would I do that?

Nah I think its good as it is. Since the bot has a trigger (saying the name of the nick) I don't think its necessary. I just did that because that was the only way I knew how to shut it up :D

I am blown away FL :D I have been using the first one that was written over at swiftIRC for a while now. I really like what you have done with the bot only interacting with one nick at a time, really helps reduce lag in the channel; and people not actually trying to talk to the bot. I've had to add a #group to enable and disable the bot when there was too much chatter going on in the room, but this will work 100x better. Also, I have tried to use some of the other bots by trying to rewrite the code, but as I am aweful with sockets I was not successful :{

Cool uneek :) I have a script like this that also uses pandorabots.com. Good job getting it to work. It took me weeks, way back when, to get mine to work.

Oh yea Lawnmower? Did you post it on swiftirc or here? I tried to edit it to get it to worth with the Irene ai bot, because she seemed a bit more vulgar :P But I couldn't figure it out, as I am still very novice when it comes to sockets and getting the right html information copied over.
